Smart | Creative | Detail Oriented.  Mr. Arney prides himself on a unique ability to envision the completed home before the work is even started.  He enjoys leading his team of designers, craftsmen and suppliers in cooperation with the owner to build and renovate beautiful homes. 
D. Todd Arney is a licensed general contractor with nearly 20 years of experience.  He is a skilled craftsman himself having personally built and remodeled homes.  This skill helps him understand the construction process and monitor the work quality. 

Mr. Arney is particularly well suited to understand the building rules and regulations and the construction business because he received his law degree with honors from Washburn University in 1992 where he was the Managing Editor of the Washburn Law Review.  He also earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1996.  Prior to his graduate studies, Mr. Arney earned a B.S. in Business Administration with a minor in Journalism from the University of Kansas.  At KU, he was the President of the Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity.   

Mr. Arney resides in Leawood with his wife, Stacey, and four children.  They attend Church of the Resurrection.  Outside the office, Mr. Arney’s activities include woodworking, golf, water skiing, snow skiing, boating and watching his son play basketball and run track.  He is an avid sports fan.  As an Eagle Scout, Mr. Arney assisted with his son’s Scout troop.  Mr. Arney also really enjoys traveling, particularly in Europe.
